Paws of Texas Rescue, Inc.
✪ Our Mission ✪
Paws of Texas Rescue is a non-profit whose mission is to rescue healthy animals from kill shelters and place them in forever homes. Prior to adoption each dog undergoes extensive behavior and temperament testing. All adult animals will be fully vaccinated as well as spayed or neutered. Puppies and kittens will receive all vaccinations appropriate for their age and will be spayed/neutered at the rescue's expense if old enough. In addition this rescue continuously takes active steps to ensure increased public awareness about spay and neuter benefits and clinics as well as the importance of yearly vaccinations. We also raise awareness about preventative measures such as heartgard and flea/tick prevention. Through public generosity and volunteer contributions this rescue will continue to help as many animals as possible for as long as possible.

Chance Needs a Second Chance
Chance is a handsome Mastiff American Bully mix who was facing imminent euthanasia in a San Antonio kill shelter. Since coming into to us, we've discovered that Chance is heartworm positive & he was shot with BBs. The wounds have since healed, but have left scars & even a few BBs behind. Chance is very cautious around men, something our trainer is helping him with, but once he warms up, he's a total love bug. We need donations to help cover Chance's medical care. Click the link at the top of the page to give Chance a second chance at a new life.
